Tom Anderson

Tom Anderson is President of Master Fleet National, a division within Master Fleet. Based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Master Fleet is a fleet maintenance solutions company operating four service centers, three in Wisconsin and one in Fort Worth, TX that provide tractor and trailer maintenance repair services. Master Fleet National expanded their services to provide solutions including a nationwide breakdown service (Fleet Roadside Assistance); outsourced/contract maintenance (Commercial Fleet Management); cost benchmarking and best practices (Maintenance Benchmark Assessment), training maintenance leaders (Maintenance Leadership Academy), a maintenance and tire program for Owner Operators; and a Tire program for small fleets. Master Fleet was awarded the 2015 Excellence in Business Award by the Green Bay Area Chamber and in 2016 was recognized as the TMW – Maintenance System Innovator of the Year. Master Fleet’s focus is helping fleets “Make Maintenance Your Competitive Advantage.”
Anderson was VP of Operations and Finance for Master Fleet before being named President of Master Fleet National.
Anderson came to Master Fleet after eight years as Senior VP of Operations and Finance at Genco’s Logistics (now FedEx Supply Chain). During his tenure, the Logistics division had significant growth in customers, revenue and profits. The team grew from 10 employees to 150 employees in those eight years
Anderson began his maintenance/transportation/logistics career in 1985, working for Schneider National as a controller responsible for all equipment purchases, maintenance and tire costs. He became vice president of pricing for Schneider Specialized Carriers in 1994. In 1997, he was promoted to general manager of Schneider Specialized Carriers, before becoming vice president of process re-engineering for Schneider in 2002.
Anderson holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He has been recognized in the logistics industry as a “Pro You Should Know.”
